Delete Your Account & Data
We believe in complete transparency and your right to control your personal data. Below you will find detailed information on how to permanently delete your Bidri Handicraft account and what data is impacted.
Data that will be permanently deleted
Upon account deletion, the following personal records are immediately and permanently removed from our systems:
- Your user profile (name, email address, avatar).
- All saved shipping and billing addresses.
- Your personal wishlist and saved items.
- Active shopping cart items.
- Login sessions, OAuth credentials, and device authentication tokens.
Data that may be retained (and legal reasons)
In compliance with Indian taxation, financial reporting, and statutory commerce laws:
- Completed Order Invoices & Tax Records: If you have completed purchases, historical tax invoices and financial transactions are retained for statutory accounting and GST audit obligations. These records are unlinked and detached from your user account.
- Product Reviews: Any product reviews you submitted remain publicly visible to help fellow patrons, with personal user credentials detached.
Processing Time
Automated deletions requested through the button below take effect immediately. Requests submitted via email or support are verified and processed within 24 to 48 hours.
